General Terms & Conditions

 

Rate Terms

  • All rates are subject to availability. Room rates are based on the number of Adults and Children in the room along with the children's ages.
  • Please ensure you have selected the correct number of Adults and Children for all guests travelling and the correct ages for Children when making your booking. A cot will be set up in your room for Children booked aged 0-2 years old.
  • Rates fluctuate depending on availability.
  • All discounted rates quoted are limited offers and may be subject to a minimum night’s stay. Certain periods may be subject to minimum stay requirements.
  • Pre-paid and Advance Purchase reservations require full pre-payment at the time of booking. These Reservations are non-transferable and non-refundable.
  • Rates are quoted and charged in EUR inclusive of VAT.
  • Some offers may require ID to be presented upon arrival to avail of discount. Failure to provide ID on arrival may result in changes to the original rate booked.

 

Cancellation / Non-Arrival Policy

  • Prepaid and Advance Purchase reservations do not allow for cancellation at any time after booking. The full amount will be taken from the card provided at the time of booking. This prepayment is non-refundable and non-transferable.
  • Bloomfield House Hotel, Leisure Club & Spa has a strict cancellation policy of more than 48 hours notice prior to arrival (72 hours for 3rd Party Website Bookings). If cancelled within these times, no fee will be charged. (Please note pre-paid and Advance Purchase reservations are non-refundable upon cancellation)
  • “No shows" and Reservations cancelled less than 48 hours (less than 72 hours for 3rd Party Website Bookings) prior to arrival will be charged 100 percent of the first night rate.
  • Please ensure to cancel your room before 3pm, 48 hours prior to arrival (72 hours for 3rd Party Website Bookings) to avoid charges.
  • The card used to guarantee your booking will be automatically charged any cancellations fees.
  • To cancel your online reservation, please follow the instructions on your confirmation email or for bookings made direct by phone or email, please email info@bloomfieldhouse.com to cancel.
  • For New Year and selected dates with Special Terms & Conditions, cancellations made 7 days before the arrival date will forfeit the deposit paid. For cancellations made within 7 days of the arrival date, payment will be taken for the first night along with the deposit paid.
  • Group bookings are subject to different cancellation policies depending on the contractual agreements for each individual group with specific hotels.
  • Bloomfield House Hotel reserves the right to pre-authorise the credit card you provided prior to arrival. Should the card decline, they also reserve the right to advise of this accordingly and request cancellation of the booking.

 

Reservations

  • Please note that different terms, conditions and cancellation policies in relation to all online bookings via the booking website may apply depending on the room or rate type selected.
  • Please carefully read the room rate details that are provided before you make your online booking. We advise you to check through the rate details before making your online reservation.
  • To make a booking you must enter the details of a valid credit or debit card legally held by you to guarantee your reservation.
  • Your credit card details are required to guarantee the reservation; however, no charge will be made at the time of booking (excluding prepaid & advance purchase reservations).
  • Your booking details will be specified in the confirmation email provided. Should you wish to amend any booking details for your upcoming stay, please contact the reservations department of the hotel immediately to request assistance with your booking. Booking amendments are subject to availability.
  • Reservations cancelled outside of cancellation policy will incur a penalty equivalent to a one night's stay which will be deducted from the credit card provided at the time of booking.
  • A cot will be set up in your room for Children booked aged 0-2 years old.
  • Rooms are allocated based on the room type and number of guests booked and to suit your individual requirements. Classic Double Room bookings may be allocated a room with 2 double beds. 
  • All packages which include extras such as Dinner, Afternoon Tea, Spa Treatments etc. are based on adults only and must be booked in advance. 
  • Kids stays include Bed & Breakfast only - all other Meals and Extras are charged as taken. 
  • Dinner included in Packages will be served in the Restaurant.

 

Deposits & Payments

  • Pre-paid and Advance Purchase reservations the full amount will be taken from the card provided at the time of booking and is non-refundable and non-transferable.
  • No deposit will be charged with the exception of Pre-paid and Advance Purchase reservations, New Year and selected dates with Special Terms & Conditions.
  • This card will be charged in the event of a no show or late cancellation as stated on your booking confirmation. However please note for Pre-paid and Advance Purchase reservations the full amount will be taken from the card provided at the time of booking and is non-refundable and non-transferable.
  • Please be aware that full payment will be required on check in. Any additional costs incurred during the stay shall be paid as taken.
  • Cash payments are welcome in our hotel. If you choose to pay cash upon arrival, a security deposit in the form of cash or a pre-authorisation of a Credit or Debit Card will be requested along with photographic ID. Acceptable Identifications include Passport or Driving License.
  • Due to high demand for New Year and Selected dates with Special Terms & Conditions, a €200 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking. Cancellations made 7 days before the arrival date will forfeit the €200 deposit paid. For cancellations made within 7 days of the arrival, payment will be taken for the first night along with the deposit.
  • To check the validity of your Credit Card and guarantee your booking, the property reserves the right to pre-authorise the Credit Card you provided prior to arrival and temporarily hold an amount. Should the card decline, they also reserve the right to advise of this accordingly and request cancellation of the booking within the cancellation policy. The hotel is NOT charging your credit card. A pre-authorisation is a security guarantee for payment only. The pre-authorisation fund is not held by the hotel, the company who provide the credit card system or by the authorising bank. The pre-authorisation fund is held on your card by your own issuing bank. A pre-authorisation can be held on your card for a minimum of 10 to 15 working days. Pre-authorisation should be released by your issuing bank automatically, if not you will need to contact your home issuing bank.
  • Payments for shared rooms, including additional extras, and any damage caused are the responsibility of the booker.

 

Hotel Terms

  • Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult in each room.
  • The Hotel reserves the right to cancel any reservation, regardless of whether a confirmation email has been received by you due to any overbooking, pricing or hotel system error.
  • Guests are asked not to bring hazardous or illegal items such as Nitrous gas into our hotels, however, where canisters are found left in a bedroom following your stay, a €100 fee will be charged to the lead bookers card for each canister so that they can be appropriately and safely disposed of.
  • If Government introduce guidelines or restrictions, these may impact your hotel stay. Please refer to any special notifications on our website, your booking confirmation or pre-stay communications. 
  • Check-in & Check-out time: Our check in time is from 15.00 onwards, access to rooms for early arrivals is strictly subject to availability. Check out time is 11am. We will always try to accommodate guests who arrive early, but we are unable to guarantee that your room will be available before the Check-in time of 3pm. If you are travelling for an afternoon Wedding or Event, we advise you to arrive ready to attend your event. Please be advised that Check-out time is 11am.
  • No Pets are allowed without prior permission and agreement to the Hotel’s Pet Policy.
  • We advise our guests to pre-book all Dinner, Kids Club & Spa Treatments at reservation stage and prior to arrival to avoid disapointment. Please note, all guests are required to make advanced reservations for Dinner prior to arrival at the Hotel. We would encourage you to make your Reservations at your earliest convenience by clicking here
  • Persons under the age of 18 years will not be allowed to check-in if unaccompanied by a parent / guardian.
  • Only Food & Beverages supplied by the Hotel may be consumed on the premises.
  • The Hotel will not be responsible for loss of valuables.
  • Children must be supervised at all times. Please keep noise to a minimum in sleep zones - any disturbances will result in a charge.
  • All rooms and areas of the Hotel are non-smoking. Smoking or Vaping will result in a €200 charge. All charges and fines will be taken directly from the Credit Card provided. 
  • Our Kids Club with Evening Tea runs on evenings during school holidays and on Saturdays during school term. A €15 charge per child applies. Places are limited, to avoid disappointment we would encourage you to make your Kids Club Reservations at your earliest convenience by clicking here.

No Smoking Policy

  • Bloomfield House Hotel, Leisure Club & Spa operates a no smoking policy throughout the hotel, with smoking permitted only in designated smoking areas on the grounds of the hotel.
  • All bedrooms and public areas are non-smoking.
  • Anyone found to be smoking or having smoked in a hotel bedroom will be subject to a deep-cleaning fee of €200. This amount will be charged to the credit card details provided at the time off booking.

 

Misconduct and damage to hotel property

  • In the event of guest’s behaviour being unacceptable to the Hotel, the Management reserves the right to insist on the offending individual(s) immediate departure from the hotel.
  • Furthermore, the guest undertakes to pay all reasonable costs incurred in making good any breakages or damage to the Hotel directly or indirectly from the behaviour or conduct of the guest or the guest’s visitors.
  • We reserve the right to make a charge to the guest’s credit card in case of damages.
  • Please be informed that guests are not allowed to have any non-registered guests in their bedrooms at any time during their stay.
