Dear Guest,

We look forward to re-opening our doors at 12.30pm on Monday 29th June for Accommodation, Food & Beverage and welcoming our Leisure Club Members and Spa Guests from July 3rd. We are closely monitoring ongoing advice and directives from the Irish Government, HSE and WHO (World Health Organisation) and we would like to share some of the many actions we are taking throughout the Hotel, Leisure Club & Spa to enhance the safety of your visit.

What we are doing throughout the Hotel, Leisure Club & Spa:

  • Detailed Covid Action Plan and Policy in place
  • Staff fully trained in Hotels Covid Policy and procedures
  • Physical Distancing and property signage in place
  • Cleaning & Disinfection Protocol in place
  • Increased staffing to ensure regular cleaning and disinfecting
  • Hand Sanitisation points provided throughout the hotel 

 

Checking In & Out

  • Check in time is 4pm
  • One way queue system at Reception (Please adhere to signage and markings)
  • Only one guest per party to queue for Check-in (Large groups should nominate one person to check in all rooms)
  • If the queue is full please have a seat in the lobby and queue when there is availability
  • Guests will be asked to pre-pay for their stay on arrival
  • Guests will be asked to book Breakfast & Dinner time on arrival
  • We can no longer offer luggage storage but Porterage will be available
  • Protective screen installed at Reception Desk
  • We no longer can offer the facility to charge items to your stay (All items must be paid as taken)
  • Check-out time is 12pm
  • Express check-out available for pre-payed guests

 

Lobby

  • Furniture spaced out to maintain social distancing 
  • Sanitisation Stations in place
  • All furnishings sanitised

 

Bar & Restaurant

  • Food & Beverage will be available from June 29th
  • Guests should wait to be seated
  • Table Service only for Food & Beverage
  • We no longer can offer the facility to charge items to your stay (All items must be paid as taken)
  • Tables are spaced to ensure social distancing
  • QR Codes to view Menu on your own device
  • Printed Menus available on request and are single use only
  • Sanitisation of tables between guests
  • Sugar, Salt, Pepper, Sauces etc. served in sachets on request 
  • One Evening Menu served throughout the Hotel

Evening Menu Serving Times:

  • Monday – Thursday | 2.30pm  - 9.30pm
  • Friday & Saturday | 3.00pm - 9.30pm
  • Sunday | 5.00pm - 9.30pm

 

Carvery

  • Our Carvery will be open from Monday June 29th at 12.30pm.
  • Guests should wait to be seated before joining the queue
  • Guests will be called to place their order and pay at the Carvery counter
  • All Cutlery, Condiments, Water Glasses are kept in a regularly sterilized area and will be served to you by a member of staff

 

Carvery Serving Times:

  • Monday to Thursday | 12.30pm - 2.30pm
  • Friday & Saturday | 12.30pm - 3.00pm
  • Sunday | 12:00pm - 5.00pm

 

Health & Leisure Club

  • Swimming Pool & Gym will be open to Members from 3rd July
  • Slots must be booked in advance for both Swimming Pool & Gym
  • Sauna, Steamroom & Jacuzzi will be closed until further notice
  • Showers will not be accessible so we can kindly ask guests to dry off in the Changing Room or beach dry on the Pool Deck
  • Changing Rooms will not be accessible for Gym users - please come ready to train (Members - please scroll down for full Gym & Pool info)

 

Residents Information:

  • Gym and Pool slots are available between 10am – 6pm and should be booked directly with Leisure Club by dialling 107 from your bedroom
  • Please verify whether you require a Swim Lane or the Open Zone and confirm the number of Residents you wish to book for
  • Swimmers & Walkers will need to book Swim Lane - Open Zone will be used primarily for Families & Kids

 

Member Information:

We would like to take this moment to thank all our valued Members for your patience in these difficult circumstances. We know you are eager to return and we cannot wait to welcome you. Our Team have been working hard to ensure we have all safety procedures in place in our Pool and Gym ahead of our re-opening. Below you will find a new system that we will be implementing going forward. We will monitor this system on a weekly basis and make tweaks should we need to. We kindly ask you to bear with us as we move to a new normal and find our feet in these challenging times. We look forward to seeing you soon.

  • Gym & Pool slots are available between 8am – 8pm from Friday 3rd July.
  • Pre-bookings can be made from Wednesday 1st July at 11am
  • There will be no admittance without a pre-booking
  • Members can book a 50 minute Gym slot or 40 Minute Pool slot
  • We cannot guarantee back to back slots for Gym & Pool
  • Slots are available on a first come first served basis
  • Members can only book 1 day prior to the slot they wish to book
  • Members can book directly with Leisure Club on 0449349305, via Facebook Messenger to our Leisure Club page or at Leisure Club Reception after your session if you are booking the following day
  • Bookings via Facebook will be confirmed and be replied to by our Team - please ensure you have confirmation of your slot before arriving
  • Showers will not be accessible so we can kindly ask guests to dry off in the Changing Room or on the Pool Deck
  • Guests are welcome to beach dry on the Pool deck should they be uncomfortable using the changing facilities
  • Sauna, Steamroom and Jacuzzi are not accessible in line with guidelines
  • Changing Rooms & Lockers will only be accessible for Pool users and lockers will be allocated 
  • All Pool users will need to verify whether they require a Swim Lane or the Open Zone
  • Swimmers & Walkers will need to book a Swim Lane - Open Zone will be used primarily for Families & Kids and recreational use
  • Families should confirm the number of guests they wish to book for at time of booking
  • Gym users must come ready to train and we advise you to not bring any valuables with you as lockers are not accessible
  • Please bring your own water and a towel - Water fountains will not be accessible in line with guidelines 
  • Please familiarise yourself with all guidelines we have in place throughout the Leisure Club and maintain social distancing at all times, be it at Reception, in the Gym, in the Pool or in the Changing Rooms
  • No observing or seating on pool deck
  • Please respect your fellow members and guests and call us to cancel so we can open your slot for somebody else
  • We will monitor these systems on a weekly basis and make tweaks should we need to
  • We kindly ask you to bear with us as we move to a new normal and find our feet in these challenging times 

 

Swimming Pool Protocol

We will use 6pm as an example Pool slot (40 minute session)

  • Guest will be allowed enter the Changing Roms when the previous guests have vacated the Club and the facilities have been fully sanitised
  • Whistle will sound at 6pm and your 40 minute session will commence
  • Whistle will sound at 6.40pm and guests should immediately finish their session and exit the Pool. 
  • Showers will not be accessible so we can kindly ask guests to dry off in the Changing Room or on the Pool Deck and exit the Club by 6.50pm
  • The 7 o’clock guests will be allowed enter when the previous guests have vacated the Club, the facilities have been fully sanitised and staff have given you clearence to enter
  • Pool users will only be permitted in the Changing Rooms – no Gym users

 

Gym Protocol

We will use 6pm as an example Gym slot (50 minute session)

  • Guests will enter the Gym at 5.55pm – if you arrive earlier you will not be allowed enter
  • Your 50 minute session will commence at 6pm and end at 6.50pm
  • Guests should have sanitised all equipment they used and exit the Gym by 6.50pm
  • Changing Rooms will not be accessible for Gym users so we can kindly ask guests to exit the Club immediately
  • The 7 o’clock guests will be allowed enter when the previous guests have vacated the Club and staff have given you clearence to enter
  • No Gym users will be permitted in the Changing Rooms – Pool users only

 

Health & Leisure Club Opening Times:

  • Monday to Sunday | 8am - 8pm (pre-booking only)

 

Spa

  • We will be offering a reduced Spa Treatment Menu from Friday 3rd July
  • Pre-Bookings can be made from Wednesday 1st July at 11am
  • Our Spa Therapists will be wearing PPE at all times during your visit
  • Hand sanitiser stations will be provided throughout your visit
  • Our Spa Team have handpicked a range of Covid friendly relaxing Spa Treatments

  • Friday 3rd July | 10.00am - 6.00pm
  • Saturday 4th July | 10.00am - 6.00pm
  • Sunday 5th July | 10.00am - 6.00pm

 

Spa Opening Hours from Wednesday 8th July:

  • Wednesday to Sunday | 10.00am - 6.00pm
  • Monday & Tuesday closed each week

 

Bedrooms

  • Fully sanitized room on arrival
  • Option of 'Do Not Enter' during stay
  • Upholstery sanitised
  • Unnecessary touch points such as menus, guest directories, pens, bibles, magazines all removed and available on request
  • Rooms aired between guests
  • Room Service available

Kids

  • All Kids must be supervised and must remain with their parents or guardian at all times
  • Kids Playground will be sterilised as per guidelines
  • No Kids Club at this time – we hope to resume by August Bank Holiday
  • Kids Camp will not be running this Summer

Weddings & Events

  • We are premitted to host Social Gatherings with social distancing (Weddings, Christenings, Family Gatherings) from July 20th
  • Extra hand sanitisation points provided around venue
  • Additional credit card machines provided to speed up contactless payment
  • Adequate space provided to ensure guests enjoy a safe environment
  • Table service from the Bar
  • Arrival Reception will be held in a Private Room

Kitchens & Food Preparation 

  • Enhanced sanitisation protocols
  • Increased handwashing
  • Full HASSAP system in place

Both the WHO and HSE have publicly stated that there is no evidence to suggest that Covid-19 is passed on through food.

 

Gardens & Outdoor Benches

  • Furniture spaced out on lawns to maintain social distancing and cleaned regularly throughout the day
  • Our Lakewalk and Jetty stretching onto Lough Ennell will be open to help you unwind
