Wedding Deposit Terms & Conditions

Provisional bookings can be held for 7 days, thereafter it is at managements discretion to release the date if no deposit is received. Deposit: When you hold your reception at Bloomfield House Hotel a non-refundable deposit of €1000.00 will be required to confirm your booking. Payment of this deposit indicates acceptance of the following Terms & Conditions. A further €1500.00 deposit is required 3 months prior to the wedding. 75% of the Balance of your account based on final number is due for payment 2 weeks prior to your wedding with the remaining balance to be paid in full on departure.
"One Wedding a Day” applies to the Belvedere Suite only and is applicable to a minimum number of 200 adults.
Final arrangements regarding menu choice, drinks etc. are to be given 4 weeks prior to the wedding, together with the expected numbers of guests attending.
Please note our wedding package only applies to wedding receptions of 150 adults or more in the Belvedere Suite and 90 adults or more in the Ennell Suite and is based on a minimum price of €29.95 per person. Conditions may apply in relation to numbers attending the Evening Reception. This can be discussed further with Management.
The final numbers of persons attending the wedding must be notified to us at least 48 hours prior to the wedding. This will be the minimum number that you will be charged for, if that number exceeds the minimum numbers agreed in your package deal. Otherwise you will be charged for the minimum numbers agreed in your package, as stated above.
Sample : Book the Ennell Suite for 90 person on the Package: 80 persons attend – Charged for the full 90. Book the Belvedere Suite for 150 person on the Package: 140 persons attend – Charged for the full 150. (With the exception of the “One Wedding a Day”, whereby you will be charged for the full 200 adults)
Menu prices may vary subject to seasonal availability of certain products and Government changes. All prices quoted are subject to proportionate yearly increases according to rises in direct costs or operational costs, taxes or unforeseen circumstances. Menu prices will be charged per menu prices on the year your wedding is held.
All prices are inclusive of Government Tax. There is no service charge.
The Management of the Hotel chooses all Package Wines.
Should you decide on a choice menu for one course or throughout the meal, it should be noted that additional charges would be incurred. To calculate the cost, select the choice with the higher cost as your base price and add €2.00 to this price. We do not recommend more than two choices per course.
All entertainment must be approved by the Management of the Hotel and must finish 30 minutes after closing time. DJ’s and Entertainers must provide their own equipment and accept responsibility for same.
Cancellations must be made in writing. Cancellation charges in addition to the forfeit of the deposit will be charged in full if the wedding is cancelled within 12 weeks of the wedding date and 50% of the estimated final bill if cancelled within 6 months. Cancellation charges will include all items booked.
Accounts are rendered for payment in full on the day after the wedding by Cash, Bank Draft or Cheque accompanied by a valid cheque card.
The Hotel reserves the right to refund deposits in circumstances when a booking is made through a third party or under false pretences. Prospective clients must always meet with a member of Management by appointment prior to acceptance of a deposit. The Hotel may cancel the event in circumstances where the Hotel has reason to believe that the booking might prejudice the reputation of the Hotel should any guest attending the event behave in any way considered to be detrimental, offensive or contrary to normal expected behaviour. It is advisable to make an appointment for a show-around and to discuss dates.
Only food and beverages supplied by the Hotel may be consumed on the premises, unless prior permission has been given by the Management of the Hotel.
Bloomfield House Hotel and Leisure Club reserves the right to accommodate two or more functions on the same day.
We will offer an allocation of bedrooms at a rate discounted from the Hotels rack rate for your guests who wish to stay at the Hotel, subject to availability. All bedrooms booked by guests must be secured with a booking deposit or credit card. Check in time is after 3pm and check out time is 12noon.
We recommend the evening buffet be served to a minimum of 75% of the total number of guests in attendance.
Bloomfield House Hotel does not offer Wedding Menu Tasting.
The organiser shall be responsible for any damage to fitting, furnishing, fire equipment, safety equipment, walls, floors and carpets during the function.
Bloomfield House Hotel does not take responsibility for gifts, cards, cakes etc left in the hotel and does not take responsibility for loss, damage or theft to property owned by clients or their guests.
Where availing of the 1 Free Overnight stay for every 10 rooms booked, this does not include 3rd Party bookings or Complimentary rooms.
If choosing the “Gold Package”, the Drink of choice offered to your guest, does not include : Doubles or Premium Brands.
Leisure Centre membership is strictly non transferable & cannot be exchanged for goods or free use of other Hotel facilities.
