One very lucky Killucan couple are celebrating an extra special Valentines thanks to Bloomfield House Hotel’s €15000 Wedding Giveaway. Bloomfield House Hotel has teamed up with the leading wedding specialists in the area to create a wedding package prize that supplies everything for a dream wedding.
Hopeful couples competed through Red or Black themed games in the hope of winning this very special prize. Games included musical chairs, oysters at dawn, aisle runner, pop the question, sweet memories and spin the red or black wheel. Bloomfield chef’s Andrew and Alan competed to open as many oysters as they could in 60 seconds. Bloomfield Mission Slim Possible contestants Joanne Killian and Siobhan Boyne along with their trainers Lisa Kenny and Michael McDonnell competed in a treadmill and bike race with 0.01 of a Kilometer between them. Bloomfield pastry chef Liza created stunning red and black roulette wheel desserts; each desert was uncovered to reveal who was through to spin the Red or Black Wheel. There was a high level of tension and excitement as the wheel spun and finally stopped on black the lucky colour for Killucan couple, Maura Carey and Keith O’Callaghan. “We are absoultely over the moon, words can not describe how we am feeling” said this years winner Maura Carey.
“This has come at such a good time for us” explains Keith “Like many other couple we have financial troubles, last week our jeep was crashed, It couldn’t have happened to a couple who needed it more,” he added.

There is handmade wedding stationery by Jimples.com, treats from Mrs Maguires Sweet Shop and a wedding photo booth." he continued.
The Supreme Wedding Package Prize is for 100 persons at the very romantic, lakeside setting of Bloomfield House Hotel. Following a €6 million investment in the hotel since 2004, it has been officially awarded four-star status.
