Bloomfield House Hotel’s €15000 Free Wedding Giveaway Scooped by Killucan Couple
One very lucky Killucan couple are celebrating an extra special Valentines thanks to Bloomfield House Hotel’s €15000 Wedding Giveaway. Bloomfield House Hotel has teamed up with the leading wedding specialists in the area to create a wedding package prize that supplies everything for a dream wedding.
Hopeful couples competed through Red or Black themed games in the hope of winning this very special prize. Games included musical chairs, oysters at dawn, aisle runner, pop the question, sweet memories and spin the red or black wheel. Bloomfield chef’s Andrew and Alan competed to open as many oysters as they could in 60 seconds. Bloomfield Mission Slim Possible contestants Joanne Killian and Siobhan Boyne along with their trainers Lisa Kenny and Michael McDonnell competed in a treadmill and bike race with 0.01 of a Kilometer between them. Bloomfield pastry chef Liza created stunning red and black roulette wheel desserts; each desert was uncovered to reveal who was through to spin the Red or Black Wheel. There was a high level of tension and excitement as the wheel spun and finally stopped on black the lucky colour for Killucan couple, Maura Carey and Keith O’Callaghan. “We are absoultely over the moon, words can not describe how we am feeling” said this years winner Maura Carey.
“This has come at such a good time for us” explains Keith “Like many other couple we have financial troubles, last week our jeep was crashed, It couldn’t have happened to a couple who needed it more,” he added.
“And what a wedding it is going to be”, as Oliver Gaffey, Sales and Marketing Manager at the Bloomfield House Hotel explained "we have professional hair styling by Indulgence, make-up by Bloomfield Spa, a wedding cake from Cakes by Una, reception Music by Bob Batty and Evening Entertainment by Irish Dancing professionals ‘Celtic Dance Fusion’, The Band Vision and DJ By Sarge Geraghty.
"We have a floral package from Nixons Flowers. Flynn Photo Services and Ollie Gallagher Videographer are capturing those precious moments, and we have a Vintage Bentley Rolls Royce by Rover Coaches to ensure the couple arrive in style. There is handmade wedding stationery by Jimples.com, treats from Mrs Maguires Sweet Shop and a wedding photo booth." he continued.
The Supreme Wedding Package Prize is for 100 persons at the very romantic, lakeside setting of Bloomfield House Hotel. The Hotel enjoys an idyllic setting on the shores of Lough Ennell and is surrounded by magnificent parkland - ideal for wedding photos. Maura, Keith and their guests will enjoy a red carpet arrival, a five course meal, a half bottle of wine per guest, evening buffet and bridal suite. Brings The Newest Star to Mullingar!
Bloomfield House Hotel is proud to announce that they have received their four star grading from Fáilte Ireland. Following a €6 million investment in the hotel since 2004, it has been officially awarded four-star status. To achieve this grading with Fáilte Ireland, the hotel implemented a comprehensive renovation plan, which included a refurbishment of the restaurant, bar, spa and bedrooms along with a complete refurbishment of the banqueting suites.
Bloomfield House Hotel is an Irish, family owned hotel and owner Elizabeth Connaughton commented on receiving their four star status: “We are delighted to receive this accreditation for the hotel which would not be possible without the great service and dedication of our team of management and staff”.
