Family Activities
We are delighted to welcome your family to Bloomfield House Hotel, the perfect venue for a fun family break.
Enjoy lake walks, 20 acres of Parkland and an on site kids play area. Younger guests can have fun and make new friends at the Free Bumble Bee Kids Club. You can treat yourself to pampering time at Bloomfield Spa and Laser or enjoy Golf next door. There is plenty of family activities in the area including Belvedere House and Gardens, Greyhound racing, Cycling, Horse Riding, Lilliput Amenity Park, Paintballing and Laser Tag.
All our guests can avail of full use of the Leisure Club with a 20 metre swimming pool, Sauna, Steam room and Jacuzzi. There is plenty to keep everyone happy and entertained.
Our family rooms contain a double bed and two single beds or a double, single and a sofa bed. We can have a cot added on request. Family rooms offer accommodation for 2 adults and up to 3 children, whereas our interconnecting rooms can cater for 2 adults and up to 4 children.
Bloomfield House Hotel is a Child and Family Friendly Hotel offering lots of Kids activities including a free Kids Club for residents, Easter and Summer Camps, Kids Parties, Healthy Food for Kids, a Swimming Pool and Kids Swimming lessons.
A free Kids Club runs at weekends and holiday times for residents of Bloomfield House.
Our kids club and Kids camp are a fantastic place for your kids to meet new people and most importantly have fun.
We also have a kiddies pool attached to the main pool, Family Changing Rooms and run Kids Swimming lessons throughout the year.
Bloomfield House participate in Food For Kids initiative which is coordinated and supported by the IHF and promotes more choice for parents.
The ‘Family Friendly Menus’ will offer parents fun, interesting and healthy meals that reinforce healthy eating habits with an optimum balance of proteins, carbohydrates and nutrients.
Our aim is to deliver nutritious meals that are tasty, attractive and fun for children.
Bloomfield House Hotel is a proud participant in the Bord Bia Food Charter and the IHF Healthy food for Kids initiative.
Kids Camps
During the Easter and Summer kids can take part in our sports, soccer coaching, swimming and games camps.
Kids camps are run during Easter and Summer school holidays.
Qualified coaches supervise all activities.
Times 9am – 3pm
Cost €70 for Leisure Club members or €90 for non-members.
Notes: A packed Lunch and swimming gear is required every day.
Booking in advance and full payment is required to reserve spaces.
Minimum age 5 years.

KID’S PARTIES - FOR A PARTY WITH A DIFFERENCE.
Bloomfield Hotel and Leisure Club now offer Kid's Parties with fun activities and a meal.
We have different party options available from swimming and pool games to on site Laser Games.
Saturday and Sundays from 1.30pm to 3.30pm and 4pm to 6pm. Minimum number of Children is 12 and the maximum is 20. Adults must accompany children under 4 years old.

Belvedere House and Gardens
A great family day out with a Visitor Centre with multi-media show, exhibitions, the Animal Sanctuary and Children's Play Area. Belvedere also offer fun filled events including Laser Tag, Halloween at Belvedere, Narnia and Santa's Ice Palace.The Estate comprises 160 acres of parkland with 6kms of magnificent woodland and lakeshore walks, including the Narnia Trail. Several follies adorn the landscape including Ireland's largest folly, The Jealous Wall. The restored Belvedere House is an 18th Century hunting / fishing lodge designed by the renowned German architect Richard Castle for Robert Rochfort, later the 1st Earl of Belvedere. A fascinating walled garden, designed by Ninian Nevin in 1857, contains one of Ireland's finest collections of rare and special plants. The stable block is home to a modern visitor centre with mult i- media show, exhibitions and fully licensed cafe. Adjacent to the visitor centre are two children's play areas. There is also a delightful tram, which provides guided tours around a section of the parkland on selected days throughout the year. Belvedere is open year round with a full calendar of events.
